Palm oil is an important commodity in Southeast Asia. Extracted from the fruit of palm trees, the oil comes from pressing the flesh, or mesocarp of the tough and leathery fruit. This oil has extensive commercial uses as an ingredient for soaps, candles, lubricants, processed dairy foods, fuel, and animal feed.



An extensive data collection project was required. Previous information on the property was unreliable. Workers had recorded information with paper and pencil an inefficient process due to operator error. Workers were copying information from the previous year instead of collecting new data, and logging incomplete information. Unintegrated system will not allowed data accuracy. Current general ERP cannot capture data activities in the level operation for plantation industry. The above issues in the plantation industry can be covered by Plantsys.
